The third eye, the sixth chakra, resides in the center of the head and it carries the energy of perception and imagination.
My great-great-grandmother was a practicing medicine woman of the Chippewa tribe. I imagine her days were occupied by regular trips to the garden gathering various herbs to create healing elixirs for her sick fellow tribe members. She probably spent a good portion of her time soothing ill souls with her healing power while using chants to reinforce the connection to the spiritual world. There's one significant photo of her, sitting in a canoe and every time I see it, I'm always captivated by the aura she brings me. It's almost palpable. I'm convinced that she knew how to unlock the power of her healing abilities through ancestral guidance and third eye visions. And there's no doubt that transcended down to me.
Though I probably used bits of my intuition throughout my lifetime, "seeing" those in need and tending to them with the best of my ability, I began really harnessing it during my professional career in production design, art direction/prop and costume design in television. Designing for an audience requires both a deep perception and imagination so the result is genuine, pure, and convincing. Sending messages through my work was a common practice and a trademark of mine.
But something clicked inside me while working on this one project, my first independent film. It was very important to me that this project evoke emotion with the audience and somehow make a difference in the world. It's then I realized that I needed to do something deeper with my life and directly heal those open to my calling. I spent two years under Anton, at the A.R.E. of New York Cayce Center, learning the proper method to become a bio energy healer and I embraced every minute of it. Divine guidance flows through me and I'm now able to use my third eye and to pinpoint pain, stress, and injury in the human body and apply various healing hand techniques to open the path for healing and recovery.
Though I still work in the television industry, I devote much of my time as a healer. Also, I am committed to continue my journey as a practitioner to bring as much lightness, inner peace, joy and healing to my clients as a long-lasting obligation.
